Hi I'm Charlie (Sharlene) and I am a Wedding, Newborn, Family and Events portrait photographer. This is my Photography Blog and is my place to share my passion. I like to capture moments as they happen, with a candid style involving minimal posing. Relaxed , candid portraits with plenty of fun and laughter. I live and photograph in Newcastle but also travel up the Hunter Valley, Central coast, Sydney and beyond My main inspiration is my family and friends and the environment in which I live.
I spent sometime with my eldest daughter yesterday afternoon , location scouting. It was nice just me and her and not the little one! lol We found an old abandoned railway station perfect for some afternoon photography. Here are a couple of shots from the afternoon. Isn’t she gorgeous?(though I am biased;)

Even with me being so busy of late, I have continued withmy photo a day. I took this one this afternoon and coupled with a texture, turned out really pretty I think!
Yay I can finally show off my first Wedding pics! two weeks ago Donna lee photography graciously invited me to 2nd shoot at Yvette & Jason’s wedding. Here are a few of my favourite photos. It was an outdoor wedding overlooking the ocean in Newcastle with photos taken in several locations afterwards.Thankyou Yvette and Jason for allowing me to be part of your very special day
